Aesthetic dentistry

Aesthetic dentistry

Aesthetic dentistry is a constantly evolving field of dentistry. The term ‘aesthetic’ refers to ‘beauty’ and ‘art’, so aesthetic dentistry aims to make your teeth look and feel their absolute best.

There are many treatments available to improve the aesthetic appearance of your smile and teeth. These include:

  • Veneers
  • Crowns
  • Bridges
  • Tooth-coloured (white) fillings
  • Implants
  • Tooth whitening
  • Orthodontics.

NHS dental treatment does not include aesthetic treatments that are not clinically necessary. If your intention is to improve the appearance of your teeth, you will have to pay for this privately.

The price of each individual treatment is determined by your dental practice. If you have any questions regarding aesthetic treatment, speak to your dentist.
